FEDERICO II EXTRA IPA - Artisan Beer - 6.6%

Deep yellow beer, with wood-coloured reflections that stands out for the abundant use of American hops, which give an intense bitter and herbaceous, fruity and resinous aroma. The foam is creamy white, persistent and dense, it adheres well to the glass.

The aroma is characterized by fruity and resinous hints, with notes of citrus, fresh grass and pine.

On the palate is dry, bitter and hoppy, with a sweet and malty note that acts as a counterpart, the bitterness is intense but well balanced by the sweetness of the malt. In the mouth you can perceive fruity and resinous hints, with a long and persistent finish. Carbonation is moderate.

Recommended pairings: thanks to its markedly bitter profile given by the abundant presence of hops, it is perfect to accompany savoury and spicy dishes. It is at its best with grilled meats such as steak, chicken or lamb chops.

It goes very well with seasoned or medium-seasoned cheeses such as gorgonzola.

Perfect to accompany spicy dishes with the presence of curry, cumin or paprika, as it goes well with more complex aromas. Excellent choice to accompany seafood such as prawns, mussels and clams, as the hopping will help cleanse the palate between bites and the degree of bitterness goes perfectly with the taste of the sea. Classic pairing with French fries or other delicious crunchy snacks.
