| Short Description | Neapolitan Cicoli, or ciccioli, is made from pig fat, present in the preparation of lard. The fat, separated from the rind and diced, is cooked over a slow and constant heat, for no less than three - six hours. Seasoned with cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, pepper, nutmeg and salt. Neapolitan Ciccioli can be easily preserved for up to three or four months. |
