Cavaliere del Garda has been conceived as a vintage wine that can be drunk just a few months after the harvest, and acquires intensity over the years. Cavaliere del Garda’s Lugana exalts freshness and immediacy, with the qualities of a great white wine that is soft, mineral, citrusy and persistent.

• Grapes: single variety Trebbiano di Lugana (Turbiana)
• Colour: straw yellow to greenish, tending to golden yellow with ageing
• Fragrance: delicate, pleasant, and distinctive
• Taste: fresh, soft, harmonious and fruity, with notes of white peach and almond

Lugana is recommended for aperitifs, and with lake fish, trout, perch, and whitefish. Excellent with appetizers. Lugana pairs well with pasta dishes with elaborate sauces, such as “4 cheeses”, and with white meats and local cheeses.
